Best Pinot in a while

This special little gnome brought us a gift from the Gods!!

This bottle has been sitting in our wine fridge for awhile now. We have been waiting for the perfect moment to drink it, but realized that there is no perfect moment. As long as you have good friends to enjoy it with any time is the right time. What a spectacular bottle!

Zoo

This is one of a series of photos of this little guy running across a rope. This exhibit allows you to join the monkeys in their territory...they are running wild all around you, in the trees, on the hand rails...The pic below was set to be great until the guy in front of me jumped in at the last moment.

A Wallaby

This tree house right by the entrance is a great place for the kids to start.

Cameron's first visit to the zoo. He slept from the time we got there to the time we left! Maybe next time he can stay awake long enough to see the entrance. We didn't realize that the Phoenix zoo is rated in the top five for kids! Maybe Cameron can take advantage of that next time we go.

This giant grasshopper jumped out of the flowers (at my face) as I was watering them! Needless to say I made Spud Webb look like he had white mans disease!! After I restarted my heart, I found him hanging out on the fence of our carport. I couldn't get much closer...these were taken from about 18 inches. Two pictures, one with flash one without.
